PROM
Prom has come and gone and it was one of the best experiences of my high school career. Shopping for the dress beforehand, however was...challenging. To say the least. I knew I wanted a long sleeve, floor length, and classy dress. What I didn't know, however was how hard it was going to be to find one. I first went to my go to site, Igigi and I found a dress that I LOVED, but they were all out of my size. So I bought a black and white dress from overstock (first mistake, I know) that I liked and once it comes in the mail I try it on and it is totally see through. Like no going back, can't be fixed with a slip, see through. So obviously I did what any rational young woman would do: go cry for an hour as if the whole world was ending. After my melodramatic cry fest was over, I spent countless hours trying to find a semi presentable dress for my prom. Then, one glorious afternoon I got a notification saying that they had one dress left in my size for my original choice. I ordered it in approx. 1.5 seconds and waited eagerly for its arrival. Once I got it I had to have it taken in at the waist a little and had the slit taken down( I absolutely would not show my legs). Other than that it was a gorgeous dress and I felt like the belle of the ball.
